We never thought this day would come but believe it or not, after 19 years at Counihan's Bar and numerous road trips to lands far and wide, our beloved percussionist and master beater Johnny Bongos Horgan is retiring from us on his 50th birthday. You'll still see him at the odd session but Johnny has decided to wind down a little. We think he deserves a break after almost 40 years in the music business! We created a little page on our website to give people a chance to say goodbye and express any sentiments.
